Arrival & Departure

You can check yourself in using the smart lock. Full instructions will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Check-out
Before 11:00 AM
Please ensure you have vacated the houseboat by 11:00 AM on your departure day. If you need a late check-out, please contact the owner in advance.
Getting In
Mersey Houseboat uses a smart lock for self check-in, so there is no need to wait for a key handover. Detailed access instructions, including the lock code, will be sent to you before your arrival. You are also welcome to be met at the boat if you prefer — just let the owner know.

Parking Details
- Two large car parks at Liverpool Marina
- Accessible parking spaces available
- Currently £10 per day — verify before arrival
- Pre-book via the Sippi app or pay on site
Parking
Parking is available at Liverpool Marina. The marina currently charges £10 per day. You can pre-book a space by downloading the Sippi app, or pay on site. There are two large car parks available, including accessible parking spaces.
Please verify the current parking fee before your arrival, as charges may change.
House Rules
- Maximum 4 guests
- No smoking inside the houseboat
- No parties or events
- Pets — please enquire with the owner
- Please treat the houseboat with care and respect
- Please take care on the decking, especially in wet conditions

Around the Marina
The Anchor pub and restaurant is right next to the marina — great for a meal or a drink without going far. Albert Dock, with its museums, restaurants, and bars, is approximately a 20-minute walk along the waterfront. The city centre, Liverpool ONE shopping, and the Ferry across the Mersey are all easily reachable on foot or by public transport.
