"What a gem of a place to stay, and so worth the incredibly reasonable price! Super comfy beds, cosy modern furnishings and tonnes of Beatles and Merseyside character throughout! Situated in the beautiful Liverpool Marina this is only a 20–30 min walk from the bustling city centre and Cavern Quarter. Would highly recommend — hosts Tom & Joan were really helpful and attentive!"

"5-star accommodation all round — totally exceeded our expectations! Tom was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The boathouse was exactly as pictured and described. Stunning and so peaceful. Great amenities and the location was walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Couldn't have been any better — we will most definitely be back!"

"Absolutely fabulous wee houseboat. Lovely and cosy with everything you need. The beds are really comfortable and the welcome pack was more than helpful and thoughtful. Tom was very responsive and always encouraged me to message if I had any questions. The decking area is a great place to sit and have a drink in the evening. I will definitely be back!"

"We stayed on our wedding night — the houseboat was in a great location just a short walk from the Albert Dock. Tea, coffee, milk, toiletries and towels all provided. Tom was very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout. A great alternative to a regular hotel — more privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Tom!"

"A fantastic place to stay — the photos looked great when booking and the houseboat did not disappoint on arrival. Thomas and his wife were excellent hosts, friendly and very helpful. The houseboat is small but perfectly formed, very smartly finished, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The highlight is the deck seating area — so relaxing watching the world go by. Such a lucky find for our visit to Liverpool."

"Had a great stay at Tom's houseboat. Waking up on the water in the marina was something special, with the boats and swans right outside. The space itself was spotless and really comfortable. Tom was quick to respond to any messages, which made everything simple. Would happily book again and can recommend it to anyone wanting something a bit different."
